My experience and beliefs:

We ALL deserve to know how to heal, and to feel well. Vibrancy is our birthright.

We all deserve to feel peace inside of ourselves.

After years of working with clients suffering from cancer, autoimmune issues, anxiety, overwhelm, insecurity, and intrusive thoughts, I have learned that unhealed trauma is very often at the root of these issues.

Yoga and meditation, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, holistic health and wellness, and conscious parenting.

I have been a certified yoga teacher for over 10 years. I have special training and understanding of the body, and the somatic perspective that is needed for healing. Traumatic memory and energy is stored in the body. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices can help us navigate the difficult sensations and experiences that we may have worked so hard to forget. This embodiment teaches us to feel safe and at home in our bodies, and with all the wide range of feelings we get to experience as humans.

I have studied attachment theory with Diane Poole Heller. We work to heal ruptures and separation in attachment with the self and with others. We are wounded by our “tribe” (our family of origin) and by people, so we heal by the “tribe,” (choosing a healing community that suits us and meets our needs).

I have taking specific trainings with Peter Levine, Bessel Van der Kolk, Pat Ogden, Janina Fisher, Deb Dana, and many other trauma specific practitioners.

I use these modalities to round out our healing journey together to assist you in becoming the version of yourself you are ready to embody and ready to remember.
